ITINERARY

DAY 01 ARRIVAL IN ZAGREB (No Meals)

Upon arrival in Zagreb meet the driver then transfer to hotel for check in. Maximum 1 luggage is allowed per person. Standard check in time,

DAY 02 ZAGREB (B)

After breakfast at hotel, proceed to Palmotićeva ul.,2 – 10000 – Zagreb – HR (on your own) at 08:00 am where the tour starts. Please be at the departure point 30 minutes before the time. Get to know the oldest and most famous Croatian National Park Plitvice Lakes and the unique, still unknown place of Rastoke and complete your stay with an unforgettable day in pristine nature. Turquoise lakes, large and small waterfalls, deep green forests, watermills, over 20 km of footpaths through the Park, boat ride and panoramic train, are waiting for you to visit them. An experienced, licensed guide will make you acquainted with the natural beauties in the heart of Croatia. Explore the sensational Plitvice Lakes National Park on this one day tour from Zagreb. Meet us at our centrally located meeting point and start an exciting journey towards this UNESCO-listed site, one of the must-see sights in the area. Just before arriving to Plitvice Lakes the path will take us to Rastoke, which is a little village full of little ponds and waterfalls and therefore also called ‘Little Plitvice’. After a coffee break in the romantic atmosphere of this hidden jewel the journey continues towards Plitvice Lakes. The unanticipated beauty of this National Park lies in its sixteen stunning turquoise colored lakes, harmoniously inter-connected by a chain of waterfalls and surrounded by serene deep-green forests. Explore the lakes with a professional guide, breathe in the fresh mountain air and enjoy a short boat ride across one of the lakes while listening to the sound of water crushing against the ground. Return to Zagreb in the late afternoon where you’ll be dropped off at the meeting point. Transfer back to hotel from the departure point is on pax account.

DAY 03 ZAGREB – SPLIT (B)

After breakfast at hotel free time then check out. Transfer (on your own) to train station going to Split. Upon arrival in Split, transfer (on your own) to hotel for check in. Standard check in time, 1500hrs.

DAY 04 SPLIT – DUBROVNIK – SPLIT (B)

After breakfast at hotel, proceed to Obala hrvatskog narodnog preporoda 21 , Split – HR (on your own) at 07:00 am where the tour starts. Please be at the departure point 30 minutes before the time. Drive along the Adriatic coast through scenic landscapes of the Makarska Riviera and across the Neretva River delta to Dubrovnik. Because of its exceptional beauty and rich cultural heritage this ancient city has been included in UNESCO’s List of Cultural Heritage. Dubrovnik is surrounded by ramparts and fortresses and is a treasure trove of architectural and cultural masterpieces scrupulously preserved over the centuries. A pleasant walk will show you the city’s highlights, such as palaces, churches, museums, squares. After arriving to Dubrovnik, you will meet your local guide and start an hour and a half long walking tour through the narrow streets of the historic core of Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik is famous for its wonderful Renaissance and Baroque architecture, red brick roofs and its two kilometers long walls that have successfully resisted attacks of different enemies through the centuries. Explore the Old Town’s central street Stradun, the Franciscan Monastery (with one of the oldest pharmacies in the world), the renaissance Rector’s Palace, the town walls, the Lovrjenac Fortress and many picturesque squares and churches. After the walking tour with the professional local guide, you will have enough time to continue exploring Dubrovnik on your own. Make the most of your free time and stop by one of the local restaurants to taste some delicious traditional food. It’s not a bad idea to take a ride on the cable car to the top of the Srd Mountain and enjoy the breathtaking view at Dubrovnik and its surroundings. You can also go to the local beach and take a quick swim or buy tickets for the Walls and take a look at the city from a completely different angle. Since you have approximately two and a half hours of free time, be sure to plan your activities before the trip since it is impossible to do all listed above. After this perfectly well spent day in Dubrovnik, you will get back on the bus and start your journey back to Split. Transfer back to hotel from the departure point is on pax account.

DAY 5: GAME OF THRONES FILMING SITE(B/–/–)

After breakfast at hotel, proceed to Obala hrvatskog narodnog preporoda 21 , Split – HR (on your own) at 12:00 pm where the tour starts. Please be at the departure point 30 minutes before the time. Explore Split through the eyes of your favourite characters in the award-winning “Game of Thrones” TV series, and visit many of the location sites in the city center and Diocletian’s Palace. Wander the narrow streets, learning the city’s history on the way. If you are a Game of Thrones fan, this is an excellent tour for you! On this fun tour you will hear about real history of Split with a special accent on those exact places where the famous series was filmed. You’ll wander the cellars where the Meereenese slaves lived in the fourth season, you’ll see where Daenerys kept her dragons in season five, enter the corridor where the Sons of the Harpy waited for the Unsullied and explore the rest of the historic core of Split. DAY 06 SPLIT – ZAGREB (B)

After breakfast at hotel free time then check out. Transfer (on your own) to train station going to Zagreb. Upon arrival in Zagreb, transfer (on your own) to hotel for check in. Standard check in time, 1500hrs.

DAY 07 DEPARTURE IN ZAGREB (B)

After breakfast at hotel, check out then proceed to Ban Jelačić Square (on your own) at 11:00 am where the tour starts. Please be at the departure point 30 minutes before the time. Discover the older part of Zagreb and it’s fascinating history with our professional guide. It’s your first time visiting Zagreb? Don’t stress about it – a walking tour with a professional local guide will serve you as a perfect introduction to the rich history of the Croatian capital. Meet your guide and start exploring the streets of Zagreb, where you will learn about Ban Jelacic Square and Oktogon. Discover hidden beauties of the Lower Town before hopping on the shortest funicular in the world to reach the upper part of the city and see the Loterscak Tower, St. Marko’s Church and St. Catherine’s Church (visits not included). Witness the Gric Cannon fire, before heading towards the famous stone gate, towards Tkalciceva, Skalinska street and Dolac Market and find out interesting facts about the cathedral.
